About Us
Feed our Flock was born after years in the the halls of Pattison Elementary where a group of Moms (Audra, Candy & Sara) volunteered together; classroom parties, field trips, PTO, carnival, book fairs, teacher meals, graduations, after school activities, sports & more.
About 6 years ago we were able to help with the SonRise weekend backpack program that was brought to Pattison, as our 10 kids started aging out of Elementary school we realized there were significant food insecurities in the upper grades at Milford. That led to research, many questions asked & answered & finally approaching the District with the idea of Feed our Flock.
We have grown so much in the last 5 years. As we got our foot in the door with the upper schools we realized there were items that we needed to address regarding students needs other than just food, ex:clothes, glasses, graduation fees, etc. The needs were starting to exceed the space we had in our basements & cars!
We reached out to fellow Milford parents Ashley Brown & Wendy Pace
who were also very involved within the District in numerous areas and
asked if they would like to help us form Feed our Flock 501(c)(3).
They thankfully said YES, & Ashley helped use with all legal paperwork while Wendy took over the books for a
couple years.
This year we realized a dream by acquiring a space to open a free standing pantry building that houses all our weekend back pack supplies, a grocery area for teens in need & space to plan & implement our various year round events.
Meet the Team
Sara
Sara here, I grew up in Milford & moved back here to raise my 5 kids 21 years ago. I’m so excited that my dream of Feed our Flock has become a reality & that we get to help so many students and families in Milford. I’ve enjoyed volunteering in all aspects of the community over the last couple decades but the fulfillment I get from being a part of FOF is amazing.
Ashley
Ashley is the proud mother of two Milford students and a firm believer in the notion that it takes a village to raise children to be strong, confident, healthy & successful. Being a part of Feed our Flock is a great honor.
Audra
Audra has lived in Milford for 16 years and has 3 children in Milford schools. She is a preschool teacher at St. Thomas Nursery School and enjoys volunteering at Feed our Flock
Wendy
Wendy is the Business Director at Ohio Valley Voices and a MIlford resident for the last 18 years. She has two children in MIlford schools and has been active in providing Milford children with meals for the last several years.
Candy
I’m Candy. I’ve lived in Milford for the last 22 years and love this community! I have 3 kids who have been in the district for the last 13 years! I enjoyed my time as a volunteer at Pattison for many years and transitioned that time to Feed our Flock as my kids aged out of elementary school. Feed our Flock provides for this community in so many ways and I’m honored to be a part of it!

"Feed our flock helped me when I needed it most & they continue to help me whenever I need it, as long as they see I’m trying to help better myself and my child they are willing to go the extra mile. Without feed our flock my daughter and I would’ve starved the first few months I got my own place, I spent all my money on getting my own apartment I didn’t even think about food. I posted on Facebook and so many Milford people reached out, feed our flock being the main one. The ladies that work up there are absolutely amazing and have the biggest hearts I’ve ever seen in my life. I appreciate all you guys do & im so thankful to be apart of a community that likes to help and give back to those in need !"

"Meeting the ladies of Feed Our Flock was a turning point in my life. Coming from a low income family, I could not afford spirit wear, a new computer, or even my prom ticket. Feed Our Flock was able to provide all this and more. They kept our pantry from emptying. They provided resources from all over the community to help us stay afloat. But that's not where the support ended. They are also friends and comforters in our community's greatest times of need.... I know in my heart that if I ever need anyone to turn to for anything-- including emotional and mental support or advice-- Feed Our Flock will be there. So, if there's anything to tell the public about Feed Our Flock, it's that there is another loving family here besides their own. Thank you so much for everything you all have done!"
